I while ago I found a beautiful silk scarf from the eighties with blocks of red, lilac and cerise and a navy border. I was wondering how to use it - I don't often wear scarves and even though I quite like navy, black is the base in my wardrobe. I removed the border and bought black silk satin and the scarf became the front of a very simple dress.
